Points for submitted flags will be counted as long as the CTF is active. However, the challenges will remain accessible until 03.11.2024, even after the competition has ended.
Purpose
The Kongsberg Cyber Security Center CTF challenges participants with cybersecurity problems inspired by real-world scenarios. The platform lets you test and improve your skills in web exploitation, reverse engineering, cryptography, forensics, just like every other CTF. Our goal is to contribute to strengthening Norway's cyber defenses, create an enjoyable experience, and support recruitment efforts.
Tools Required
You can participate in the CTF with your work laptop, but some challenges require certain tools to be installed, such as Python or Ghidra. To solve all challenges, we recommend using a private PC. All challenges are made by KCSC and are safe to download. The required tools are globally renowned programs that will not introduce any risk.
Flag Format
Flags are the tokens that participants must find and submit to earn points. The standard flag format for this CTF is:
KCSC{your_flag_here}
To ensure your flags are valid, they must match the following regular expression:
KCSC{[A-Za-z0-9_?$]+}
Ensure that your flags strictly adhere to this format to be accepted by the submission system. Each flag corresponds to a specific challenge, and successfully submitting a flag will grant you points based on the difficulty of the task.
Rules
- 1. Respect other participants
- 2. Do not share flags
- 3. Do not hack the infrastructure
- 4. You must register with your name and a valid email to be eligible to win prizes. You must be a full-time KONGSBERG employee to win prices.
